Final Oucomes

When taking these photographs I have used the Nikon d3200 camera and Fujifilm Finepix S2980 camera. As I have taken all these photographs on a location shoot I have only used natural lighting and when taking photographs with the Nikon d3200 I used a medium film speed.

I used Adobe Photoshop to produce these outcomes. For each image I have decided how to develop it and add a fantasy element to it. I changed the brightness and contrast of some image to make the colours bold and bright, on some  I used the blur filters to blur around the model. I have changed the colour balance of some of my images and changed the Hue/Saturation.  I have added a fantasy element to some by adding a primary or secondary image.

One technique I have used when developing the photographs is overlaying the secondary image over my original one and changing the opacity. This adds other colours and textures to my photographs. I think this technique is very successful. Another way I have used primary and secondary images in my work is incorporating them into my photographs to produce fantasy unreal outcomes.

Mock Magazine Cover Outcomes

Mock Shoot Outcomes

I have used a Nikon d3300 camera and artificial lighting when taking these photographs. I have taken these in a studio with a white backdrop behind and used sink flash to produce these professional quality images.

I developed my images using Photoshop techniques and these been created by combining my photographs together to create surreal photography. I have chosen a dark fantasy theme using secondary image to inspire my work.  I combined my photographs of models with photographs of objects to produce these outcomes. This technique was very successful.

Christopher McKenney Inspired Outcomes

Here are my Christopher McKenney Inspired outcomes; this photographer has a darker style than the other as he focuses on haunting surreal photography. I have created these images by using different props and Adobe Photoshop. I have used different techniques like altering the opacity, changing the colour to black and white and erasing parts of the image. With these photographs I have tried to capture the same surreal feeling that Christopher McKenneys
work has. I took this shoot on location as his work is and I have used props inspired by his work. My final outcomes inspired by this photographer are successful and I have taught myself different techniques that I may use later on when creating my mocks and finals. I took these photographs with a fujifilm finepix s2980 camera and using natural lighting.

Tamara Lichtenstein Inspired Outcomes

These are my outcomes influenced by Tamara Lichtenstein, I have taken the photographs of models in a studio as it has better lighting and the images have a cleaner look to them. I then took another shoot on location; this shoot was of natural flowers and plants. Using Photoshop I overlaid the nature images over the studio shoot photographs and altered the opacity. By changing the brightness and contrast to the studio images I had a crisper and more defined image, and by changing the opacity of the nature images I could combine both the photographs together. I used a Nikon d3300 camera to taken the studio shoot and a Fujifilm finepix s2980 to take the location shoot. When taking the location shoot I used natural lighting.

My Geometric Repeat Patterns

I took the original photographs on a location shoot in the city of Liverpool. I used a Fujifilm finepix s2980 camera and natural lighting. These geometric repeat patterns have been created using Adobe Photoshop. I have produced these by opening my images on Photoshop on a large canvas size then duplicated the layer. I flipped and rotated the images to match up, mirroring the original. By duplicating this layer again and flipping the image horizontal or vertical I repeated this pattern.

Personal Photography

These rural images are a selection of my personal photography that I do in my spare time. I have taken these photographs in Wales and Ireland then converted them to black and white using Photoshop.
